The Holiday Inn Executive Center is venue for the eighth Anime Mid-Atlantic convention. The hotel space is smaller than our previous site, so we expect that this year's AMA will feel more like the early years. A flashback to our past. Of course, all of your convention favorite events will return again this year...

Special Events

Anime Mid-Atlantic is proud to present Vic Mignogna in concert! Vic will be performing original pop music with many of his songs having anime influences. He will also perform themes from well known anime series. The concert begins Saturday evening at 6PM.

    Artist Alley

This year's Artist Alley will be located in the foyer outside of the Vendor Room and stretch towards the foyer area near Main Events. Artists will be able to create, display, and commission their works for convention attendees. Because of the reduced space this year, the Artist Alley is currently sold out.

Cosplayers have always been a major part of the convention scene over the years. For those interested in some competition, Anime Mid-Atlantic has two separate competitive cosplay events. During the Saturday night Masquerade, cosplayers will perform and showcase their craft and showmanship talents on the grand stage. If you are not quite ready for the bright lights of the stage, you can also enter the Hall Costume Contest during Friday and Saturday. Our new experimental event, Fan Favorite Costumes, is an event for everyone where attendees can vote on their favorite costumes at the convention. You can contact cosplay@animemidatlantic.com for more information.

Video Programming

Main Events and two Video Rooms will screen a mix of classic and the latest anime available in the U.S. We show subtitled and dubbed movies, OAVs, and television shows. Dubbed anime is usually shown to highlight the talents of voice actors who come to AMA as featured guests. We also like to mix in a few samples of live-action Asian cinema as well. A full schedule will not be posted until a couple of weeks before the convention. We are a family friendly convention so video ratings will be posted and printed for parents of younger children.

Come to the Friday night event where you're the star! Anime Mid-Atlantic's annual Karaoke is back again and in a bigger venue. Bring your favorite anime music and sign up to sing, then join your intrepid hosts for a show no one will want to miss! The show begins Friday night at 10PM.

The Dance will be held in Main Events after the Cosplay on Saturday night.
